Offline room rearrangement journal

Test a room layout, then judge it after real life happens.

Room Swap helps people track small home rearrangements: chairs, lamps, rugs, side tables, baskets, shelves and zones. The point is not to design a perfect room instantly, but to see what still feels useful after one, three or seven days.

A simple trial loop for household changes.

Room Swap is not an interior design catalog, AR service, furniture marketplace or professional layout tool.

Five sections keep the app narrow.

The application uses Corners, Trials, Pieces, Afterglow and Housebox.

Corners

Start screen with active rearrangements, upcoming checks, room zones, stayed-well layouts, snag spots and quiet corners.

Trials

Archive of layout attempts with filters like Due, Kept, Reverted, Mixed, Tight walkway, Looks better and Needs photo.

Pieces

Catalog for Rooms, Zones, Pieces and Move Sets, each saved locally and reusable for future trials.

Afterglow

Kept after three days, room pressure, move families, repeat snags, worth another angle and settled score.

Housebox

Defaults, demo house, JSON export, photo cleanup, reset and a plain explanation of what the app helps with.

Delayed follow-up is the main idea.

The app asks whether a layout survived actual walking, reaching, cleaning, lighting and daily use.

Follow-up scoresWalk ease, reach ease, visual calm and daily usefulness are each rated from 1 to 5.
Status ruleskeepIt true becomes kept. If keepIt is false, wouldTryAgain decides between reverted and mixed.
Settled ScoreA transparent 0–100 score based on ratings, keep-it bonus, problem tags and try-again signal.
Room pressureShows room-level insights only when there are at least two attempts.
Worth another angleFinds layouts that looked calm but hurt walkway or reach scores.
Repeat snagsGroups recurring problems by room, zone, piece type, intention and problem tags.

Local visual assets, no fake screenshots.

The visual system uses the same dark blue-gray / cream / blue / cyan / green family as the privacy page, with simple layout here.
